My 50th Birthday in Charleston. the place was so hot, I felt terrible the whole time! mercifully I bought a fan, drank lots of water… which ameliorated some problems and created others!
It is Day 4 of one of the most emotionally uncomfortable diets I’ve ever been on. And yet, I’m still on it by Day 4. This is huge for me!
The headaches!! The fuzzy brain! The lack of energy! That energy thin medical people always tell you about when they’re trying to get you to diet! “Loose just 10 pounds even, and you’ll be amazed!” Yeah, I’m amazed alright. Amazed that I can’t even GET to a 10 pound loss and keep it off.
This time it’s different. I’m working alongside a pair of Brits - India and Neris - who between them have ALL of my problems. ALL! Mainly the addiction to chocolate.
I think it’s that, and giving that up along with caffeine, alcohol and every other sugar, that has made me feel so headachey and ill this week. But I’ve made it to Day 4, and I couldn’t be happier!
Now… to make it one week!
